Toques & Truffes is an exceptional annual gastronomic festival dedicated to the Quercy diamond: the black truffle. An exploration of the beauty of this local, ephemeral and precious delicacy, in harmony with the great Malbecs of the Vigouroux family, supported for 10 years by Christine Vigouroux, who is passionate about promoting the Lot's natural and gastronomic heritage.\nThis year's program includes: Truffle & Malbec tasting workshops, truffle cooking courses, 100% truffle menus and stays, truffle-hunting experiences with a dog (harvesting), winegrower evenings...\nMore than a month of varied epicurean and immersive experiences around the "Tuber Melanosporum" (the scientific name for the black truffle) will be on offer from Tuesday January 16 to Tuesday February 27, 2024.\To bring this event to life, two venues emblematic of the Malbec Art de vivre dear to the Vigouroux family in the Cahors region: Château de Haute-Serre (Michelin Guide selection) and Château de Mercuès (Relais&Châteaux, 4-star hotel and Michelin-star restaurant).

An actually crossed tasting, where the exceptional wines elaborated by Betrand-Gabriel Vigouroux meet the fine cuisine of the Michelin-starred chef Julien Poisot, the whole paired with sacred music pieces sang by the Ensemble la Sportelle and precisely chosen to match each wines : a parallel is drawn between the textures of the tannins and the sounds.
